Landscape Legacy II
This is a collage with stitch created out of collagraphs on paper inspired by time spent on the North York Moors.
I recently inherited the family hand Singer Sewing Machine that dates from just before WW1 which I used to sew clothes for my Sindy doll as a child!
It doesn't stitch perfectly, which is not surprising given its age, but I am very happy to use it to add stitch into my artworks.
It goes through multiple layers of paper easily and is beautifully quiet - all in all much better than my electric sewing machine!
