Awakening
Inspiration for this postcard sized collagraph came from the early spring flowers on shrubs & trees in the garden
and seeds bravely germinating in the still cold winter earth. The plate was made from pieces of dried Ginkgo leaf
stuck onto textured paper with a pressed dandelion flower bit for the centre of the blossom.
Aluminium tape was applied on top to hold everything in place. The lettering panel is small piece of carved vinyl floor tile.
An edition of three was printed on Fabriano paper.
